When I was first invited to do my Storytime The O2, back in July, I didn't know what to expect. Doing a new event in an unfamiliar location can be daunting, as it is difficult to predict how things will go. However, I am happy to report, my visits to #TheO2 were a success! ⭐️

I'm delighted that the number of children from my first visit to #TheO2 to the number of children last weekend more than doubled, with the growing popularity of my Storytime! Some families had returned to take part again from a previous weekend, which is truly wonderful! 🥰

I thought it might be difficult for children to concentrate in this area, but actually, they had excellent focus and enjoyed the activities we did together. See all eyes on me below... 😊

I got mats for #TheO2 and was surprised how cosy it made the space, especially as the seating area is a wide open area. I must say, I did spend quite a lot of time cleaning these mats! Partly because I'm a neat freak and partly because I didn't want the kids to sit on dirty mats!

One morning, one of my lovely assistants arrived with a beaming smile to tell me they had seen me on the big screen at #TheO2. I couldn't believe I had missed it! When I saw it, I was thrilled. From a local nursery to The O2, my Storytime has taken me to places most unexpected!

I ❤️ teaching children! I have the opportunity to do this at Storytime during my book reading and when children are creating their drawings. In this photo, a little girl was so proud of her drawing and wanted me to look at it several times. #MusicAudioStories #artwork #BJTC #art
