If #SunbeltRentals you're serious about "creating a healthier environment for people, local residents, and future generations" then you'll already know of the devastation #ClimateChange has already cost the world Stop work on Southampton to London Pipeline Project or we will make your equipment safe.

The UK is baking in extreme heat & record-breaking temperatures are expected at the end of this week. Our top tip to keep cool? Stand up to the Gov as it continues to protect the fossil fuel industry and drive climate chaos. 🥵

Peaceful direct action was taken near #Fleet in #Hampshire to halt expansion of #ExxonMobil / #Esso's Fawley Refinery to London Heathrow aviation fuel pipeline.

To Flannery Plant Hire you talk about protecting the environment but are supporting the #Exxon pipeline expansion. You talk about #climate, you know that we need to be decreasing flights rapidly and not investing in new fossil fuel projects. Stop work on Southampton to London Pipeline Project #StopSLP

#WeArePipeBusters and we will call out ExxonMobil UK / Esso GB and all who assist the SLP project. As Earth defenders we act in defence of all life and harm no one. We call others to act in peaceful solidarity.

Looks like a sneaky mention of This Is Not A Drill in The Times and The Sunday Times. Direct action... gets the goods? Well done all who have campaigned on this. We have to keep the pressure up until they completely stop facilitating fossil fuel destruction.

Why do PIPEBUSTERS take action against new fossil fuel infrastructure? 1. Climate change is happening now, not in 2050, now. x.com/ecoeye/status/…

2. Climate science tells us we MUST begin to phase out Fossil Fuel, starting with NO NEW INFRASTRUCTURE. Otherwise we will lose control of global heating. + 2°C is the critical threshold for animal and plant life, we are more than half way there.

3. Our govt are backing projects which assume long term paybacks e.g. $1billion on new diesel facilities at #ExxonMobil Fawley, new North Sea drilling, coal mines, airport expansions. They refuse to #ActOnClimate and refuse to listen to United Nations, International Energy Agency & climate activists

4. To silence the cries of dissent, their PCSC act has made all noticeable forms of protest imprisonable offences, with provision for ministers to add what they like to it. Are we to continue as before until we are all in prison? Would that make them change?

5a. Climate activist groups have mostly used accountable actions up to now, but what are the moral arguments for doing that and when is the right time to change? Background reading; versobooks.com/books/3665-how… Spoiler alert: It won’t tell you..

5b. ..how to blow up a pipeline. It does address the progress of climate protest and asks big questions. Like, if it was morally right to stop a train heading to a death camp, when does it become morally right to do the same to FF infrastructure? IF NOT NOW, WHEN?
