Examples of the type of vegetation the Attica wildfires went through. Light, dry, puffy ground fuels with thin canopy fuels. And these were next to a community, where they were supposed to be thinned trimmed and cleared!

I just discovered there exists a poster of atmospheric fire behavior impacts from clouds. Does anyone know where to get one or a high res version of it. I only found one such low res image.

Visited Theodore M. Giannaros at the National Observatory of Athens to discuss the recent wildfires and the steps forward to a safer Greek wildfire strategy. It was recently affected by the Penteli fires. What a wonderful yet horrifying view.

Visited the fire labs of the National Technical University of Athens fire dynamics team, here testing compartment fires and CLT ceilings. Very good research being done here!
