#OTD in 1999, Village Preservation + other advocates get The Stonewall Inn on the State+National Register of Historic Places, the 1st EVER for an #LGBTQ+ site. Since then we’ve been securing more groundbreaking recognition+protection for LGBTQ sites. More: villagepreservation.org/campaign/lgbtq…
#OTD in 2015, we got THE STONEWALL INN (The Official Page) landmarked after an 18-month campaign, the first #LGBTQ+ site landmarked in NYC.
