Stockport Cosmos Colts Awards 2022/23. Clubman / Hero. Chris Priestley. Club captain and legend Chris Priestley has led the club to the first league title in its history. A series of stellar performances from the back saw the team concede just 17 goals in 22 games.

First Pre-Season game this weekend for the Cosmos. The lads take on ex player Chris Singletons side BPFC at Oasis Academy, AUL. A chance to blow away the summer cobwebs and bed a couple of new players in.

Next Up: Cosmos travel to a new look Commercial FC tomorrow morning in Glossop looking to make it 2 wins from 2 in Pre Season.

Matchday: Cosmos take on AFC Stockport in their penultimate Friendly this morning at Fog Lane, Didsbury. Kick off 1030.

Matchday: Cosmos travel to Bramhall this evening to start their 2023/24 season, following having no game on Sunday due to an odd number of teams in the league. After last seasons title win, the lads are hungry to progress and Mount a charge for the top end of Division 1.

Hard fought 3 points to open the season for Cosmos, in tough humid, sticky conditions over in Cheadle. The hosts took the lead midway through the first half but a close range goal just before half time from Andy Smythe and an Ian Arnfield late goal sealed 3 points for Cosmos.

Full time: Winston 5 - 3 Cosmos. Tough game against arguably the best side we’ve faced in the last couple of years. Good fight and character shown from the side, we lost the game but we learn from it. Goals from: Adam Barlow, Jamie Walker and Jake Hamand.

Full Time: Stockport Cosmos 3 - 2 Northenden. Highly competitive encounter yesterday between last seasons Div 3 Champions and Runners Up. Adam Barlow with 2 and a Chris Priestley bullet header sealing the points and sending Cosmos up to 2nd.
