Message from Aberdare Cricket Club regarding training tonight:
'There is NO OUTDOOR training this evening as the facilities are not quite ready as yet. However, we have secured one more INDOOR session this Sunday at the Dare Community Hall. See you @ 1745hrs on Sunday.'

After-school cricket club for Yr7 has got off to a fantastic start, with great numbers attending! The bowling machine was tested to its max with some very good batting!! 🏏

At long, long, long last, the moment we've been waiting for has arrived! Finally, the sun has made an appearance! This is perfect timing for the start of outdoor cricket training with Aberdare Cricket Club. Training for 11-16 year olds is now every Friday at the Ynys, 5:30 until 7:30.👍🏏

Well done to AFC Llwydcoed u14s on winning their cup final today after a tense penalty shootout! It was great to see many of our Saints contribute to the victory! Well done all! ⚽️⚽️

A reminder that cricket with Aberdare Cricket Club resumes this evening for pupils interested in improving their cricket skills. With the season just around the corner, it would be great to see lots of Saints from Yr7-11 at the Dare Sportshall, Cwmdare from 5:45-7:00 this evening! 🏏

We're super excited at St Johns to see this post from Aberdare Cricket Club as we approach the start of the cricket season. These sessions will be so beneficial and I would love to see lots of our pupils attend! We don't like cricket at St Johns, we love it!! 🏏🏏

A big well done to our Yr 9 boys who played for Abercwmboi RFC u14s today in their Cardiff Rugby Cup semi-final win against Tonyrefail! Great to see so many of them put in outstanding performances! 🏉

Football action next week includes Yr 7 and Yr 8 boys matches and a Yr 7/8 girls match, all against Tonyrefail on Monday. Matches are at the Ynys on grass. Don't forget to pack your kit on Monday! ⚽️

Another exciting game of rugby on display for our year 7 boys. We came away with a 31-14 victory.

A real busy week of sport continues tomorrow with yet more fixtures! We are away to our friends at Mountain Ash. There's Yr 8 netball, Yr 7 girls football and Yr 8 & 9 boys football! Along with the rugby matches today, almost 100 pupils will be sampling school sport this week!!

It was a privilege watching our pupils perform today in the Welsh Schools National Cross Country Championships in Brecon this afternoon! Well done to Elsi Ap Hywel, Nia Vale, Amelia Moses, Ioan Vale, Isabelle Lewis and Lily Jacklin! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️

Our year 8s just fell short to a brilliant Treorchy team. Lots of calon on show in tough conditions💪
