Happy Halloween for those who are celebrating.

SPS’s Remembrance Day Ceremony will take place on Monday, November 11th at 9:30am. Any school community members that have served, or are currently serving our country, will have reserved seating at the front of the gym.

Thank you to special guests Mr. and Mrs. Leger. Our library is named after their son Sergeant Marc Leger who lost his life in the service of Canada.  We also would like to recognize other members of our community in attendance in uniform. Thank you for your service.

Spirit Assembly 1 was a huge success! The SCC gave us some memorable moments. Fantastic student leadership.

Our annual Food Drive comes to a close today. Thanks to the generosity of our school community, we were able to collect 1641 non-perishable items for the Stittsville Food Bank! We are proud of the positive impact we have made together.

Congratulations to our Tier 2 Boys Bordenball Team who went 6-0 for first overall to take home the Championship banner and gold medal. Our girls tied for first and eventually lost by point differential to earn the silver medal. We are so very proud of all of our players!!

Wow. Another gold medal for our Tier 1 girls who faced some extremely challenging competition today to bring home the Regional Tournament Banner! We are all so proud of our players!

A busy and festive last week of learning before the break!

Wow! SPS broke attendance records with our Holiday Concert. It was so heart warming to see so many of our families come out to share in the holiday spirit. A huge thank you to Mrs. Ma and Mrs. Quane for organizing this event for our school community.

Wow! Holiday Treasures raised $4650.00 for Education Foundation of Ottawa The most $ we have raised in the 12 years of this event. Thanks to Mme Tessier, Mme Kearns, Mme Cuffari, Mrs.Keogan, Mrs.Archambault, Ms Hellmann, Mrs.McTavish, Mrs.Lynch, Mrs.McMullen and Mrs. Kuzniarz for their leadership.
