Unlike other countries there is no ID card in the U.K. So unless you have a driver’s licence or passport you need to go out of your way in advance to get permissible ID. This plays to older voters and hence Conservatives. Hope The Labour Party address this once in power.

My English teacher found my vocab in essays amusing. I remember him reading one out and laughing. I remember feeling proud but looking back I’m not so sure. He did suggest toning it down a bit in a report, and I did.
