It has been a weird conference finals both in the east and the west, with every game so far decided by double digits. I believe that tonight's game will be different. Expecting a very close, competitive game. I'll be working the game for NBA on ESPN in the replay center.

I didn't get a chance to mention on Outside the Lines, but in light of what's going on in the NBA over the last couple days, player-player relations (and even player-coach relations) seems to be as big an issue as the player-referee relations. Many techs are for player-player incidents.

Officials are no different than every other person. If treated with respect, respect will be given.

Officials do not make up the rules, the league does. The league has a standard for decorum for both players and coaches. Officials are expected to uphold these rules that the league has made, and if not, their job could be in jeopardy.

5/ Subjective plays will always be debated but what was not debatable last night was the way Cleveland took it to GS. On to game 5!
