A rather lovely production of Oh What a Lovely War tonight Brighton Open Air Theatre The weather forecast was awful but in the end there were just a few spots of rain. And the show went on magnificently.

Stopped off in lovely #Winchelsea on the way home. Saw the grave of comedian Spike Milligan. He wanted the stone to say "I told you I was ill" but the church would not allow this. However it is there - just in gaelic. And looking back along the main street, you can see Dungeness.

A lovely walk at Sheepcote Valley high above Brighton near the racecourse. We had to stop though because inconveniently there were sheep!

It didn't rain on #brightonpride2025 parade today. It took an hour and a quarter to pass by our vantage point next to the clock tower. And the sun even tried to come out. Quite an assortment of groups/organisations, including the National Trust!

What a swizz. Apparently, inland has been sunny. It's been grey here. Really grey. Definitely not the day to go up the i360 observation thingie. But it still seems to be running.

Went to vets this morning. I felt very sleepy soon after I got there. When I woke up, I was wearing this strange one-piece coat I had never seen before. They say it is because I have had the snip. No doubt all will be revealed in the fullness of time.

A lovely afternoon tea today The Grand Brighton on a terrace overlooking the sea. We ate ourselves to a standstill on scrumptious tea things and still had to take home some cake and scones.
