#GlosBirds it is so nice to hear the hedgerows and reedbeds alive with birdsong again. Little vid of some Warblers seen and heard around Frampton this morning.
#GlosBirds Got my first Reed Warbler and Lesser Whitethroat of the year this morning at Splatt Flashes thanks to Mike King๐ฆ๐บ. Also a group of 6+ Common Sandpipers flew north along the canal, 9 Black-tailed Godwits over and a Redshank. Only heard the Whimbrel AGAIN!!.
#GlosBirds Frampton sailing lake this morning, a Common Tern, 2 Common Sandpipers, 4 Oystercatchers, 1 Reed Warbler, 2 Willow Warblers, 6 Blackcaps, 4 Cetti's Warblers and 6 Stock Doves plus another Common Sandpiper on Court lake and 2 more Oystercatchers.
It is fantastic to see at least 2 pairs of healthy looking Greenfinches visiting my garden recently. It seems to me Greenfinch numbers are slowly recovering after a huge decline mainly due to the horrible trichomonosis disease that has taken a terrible toll on them. #GlosBirds
#GlosBirds My first Common Tern and Common Whitethroats of the year at Frampton sailing lake this morning. Also seen the Black Swan pair, Oystercatchers and a singing male Linnet at Splatt Bridge.

#GlosBirds Over my home in Quedgeley at 6:45 this evening a flock of around 80 migrating Curlews high and heading north.

#GlosBirds Nice few hours in the Forest of Dean today. At Nagshead the Pied Flycatchers was elusive today with only a few glimpses, a male Redstart near the lower hide, 3 Firecrests seen and more heard and 2 Hawfinches. 2 Tree Pipits and 15+Willow Warblers at Crabtree Hill.

#GlosBirds It was nice to see some recently arrived migrants at Epney today. 11 Sand Martins and 3 Swallows briefly sat on the wires, the Swallows looking a little bedraggled after there long journey. Also a Red Kite over.
#GlosBirds Along with the Sandwich Tern at Splatt Bridge this morning, 2 Shoveler, 12 Gadwall, 15 Tufted Ducks, 10 Shelducks, a Coot, 3 Little Egrets, 20+ Curlew, 6 Redshanks, 3 Sedge Warblers, 1 Reed Bunting, 1 Willow Warbler and 3 Blackcaps.

#GlosBirds Splatt Bridge 7am-8am, 4+Sedge Warblers in the Reeds and a Kingfisher, a Yellow Wagtail over, 50+Sand Martins and a Great White Egret, on the flooded flashes 2 GBBG's, 6 LBBG's, 40+ BHG's, 6 Gadwalls, 8 Shelducks, and 18 Curlews. Plus 4 Song Thrushes by the church.
#GlosBirds Slimbridge Sightings Spoonbill on the flooded Dumbles this morning. I have to feel for the Skylarks, Meadow Pipits and Lapwing that have had there potential nests flooded.

#GlosBirds Quick visit to Frampton Pools on my way back from WWT, very quiet and the only bird of note was a Lovely Common Sandpiper by the sailing club.
It was refreshing to see a good number of Yellowhammers on Cleeve Common today and to hear the delightful tones of Willow Warblers. #GlosBirds
