Great to join Dr Steph Lewis ๐ R Meiser-Stedman Katie Lofthouse at #ISTSS2023 to discuss scaleable options for supporting trauma-exposed CYP. Only 1-3% of UK youth with PTSD get access to evidenced-based treatments(!). Scalability is key but quality and evidence essential.

Thanks for a brilliant symposium, team Rachel Hiller R Meiser-Stedman Katie Lofthouse - loved hearing about your super interesting work on the needs of kids with PTSD and scalable interventions #ISTSS2023

We spoke to >40 mental health commissioners from ICBs and local authorities across England, to learn about how decisions are made around mental health provision for young people in care. A fascinating first step in our understanding of practice and policy in this area. NIHR Applied Research Collaborations (ARCs)
