The very lovely Semipalmated Sandpiper very early this morning (Friday) at Hayle on the incoming tide. It literally ran under our feet. We waited until 8pm in the evening for the Franklin's but it was a no-show sadly. Cornwall Birds BirdGuides RareBirdAlertUK

Found my first #Whinchat of the Autumn at Dawlish Warren today, feeding on the ground amongst a mixed flock. It remained mobile after being seen off by the Stonechat pair and then lost to view somewhere in the scrub. Dawlish Warren Devon Birds
