So we asked Farmers Of The UK currently hosted by The Museum of English Rural Life about their steam machines... they didn't disappoint!

Well we don't normally announce winners until the @ntethq AGM (November) but as it's out there... ... WELL DONE CHARLIE! We had some fantastic entries this year but you have really proven yourself and we know the crews you have met will agree in saying you're a Top Apprentice!

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in bringing The Smethwick Steam Engine back to life! We're really excited to see this wonderful engine playing it's important role in inspiring future engineers!

Day19 of #Museum30 is #architecture. We’ve picked the #steam #traction #engine weekend we had with our friends LTEC. Their machines looked amazing standing next to our engine house and #colliery headgear. Simple designs for our buildings but capable of great strength.

Winter isn't just about downloading all three thousand rally photos and planning where we are going next year. There is a lot of hard work going on!

You can’t just switch on a 150 year old steam engine. You need to warm it through for quite a few hours first. You should see the Bull running today - London Museum of Water & Steam at 3pm
