Some people asked me what I did in the industry. So many jobs because I was in it 11 years +small studios +leader local game community +Twitch gamedev partner +Indiecade +Super Soul Bros +SUPERHOT +FIG crowdfunding +DreadXP communication director +Consultations +Tokyo party event

I'm weird because to me the game mechanics are less important than the overall experience. I care about characters, world building, and the journey I'm going on.

None that I know of. It's the dev or a investor/publisher. Crowdfunding is more for marketing, it's a tip really. gamers want free games with all their demands met 🤷‍♀️

When people ask me how I get stuff done I try to explain this concept

I’ve seen people shamed on here for using “pretentious” words like foliage and complimentary. We ought to normalize having an interesting & expansive vocabulary. Don’t allow yourself to be bamboozled into speaking only in monosyllables for the sake of the illiterate.

I have literally no proof of this but I still feel in my soul it's true.

The future is decided by all of us, not just elites. We do have power to change. Hope it dies quicker 😊

I want a game industry where companies can build and foster developers where they feel safe from being laid off. Sales is the excuse they give but often its being tired of cleaning leadership incompetence

you might think everyone is unfathomably evil when you spend a lot of time online. then you go outside and meet normal, sweet, well-adjusted people, and realise the quiet truth we don’t like to say out loud: nobody who’s well-adjusted spends much time online.
