PGY3 residents, Drs. A. Hu, M. Silverstein, P. Yesantharao, & SCVMC Burn Center Medical Director Dr. C. Sheckter, attended the inspiring event.

Micro CI's Drs. Allison Bae & Mimi Wu Young performed flaps 5, 6, 7, & 8 under guidance of Dr. Dung Nguyen. They completed a bilateral breast reconstruction with free MS TRAM flaps & auto augmentation with bilateral O-FAFFs.

🧋 🔬 The Microsurgery Team had a fun time at our inaugural monthly Microsurgery Tea Time last night! It is a time to unwind, share ideas, discuss active service issues, and simply to bond over boba tea!

Our own Dr. Clifford Sheckter was Visiting Professor at UMich CHOP Fellows. He shared insights on burn prevention, reconstructive mindset for acute burn, & supporting burn survivors with scar surgery decisions, & private equity effects in surgical care.

Recently, Dr. Dung Nguyen was Visiting Professor at @uscplasticsurgery. Dr. Nguyen spoke on her expertise in omentum-based breast reconstruction and sensory preservation surgery.
