We love seeing everything come to fruition for our kids. Jaylen is the first TriCities student to receive the distinction of Fulton County Student of the Year. Congratulations Jaylen – we are in awe of everything you've accomplished and so excited to see where life takes you.

We have so many kids waiting for mentors. Our goal: to increase high school graduation rates and foster a love for learning for homeless and at-risk youth, ages 12-24. Maybe you have what it takes to be a positive influence and be there for these kids? #MentorsMatter #Volunteer

Say "Hi" to a youth. Share a smile. Ask how they’re doing. Hand out a gift card. It doesn't take much to help homeless youth feel they matter. #StandUpForKids #PulseNews #StandUpInAction #KindnessMatters #Empathy #HelpTheHomeless

Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend! It is an honor to celebrate those who serve our country. Kitsap Chapter hosted a very successful booth for Military Appreciation Day before Memorial Day to spread the word about StandUp for Kids and celebrate those currently serving

This recent tour of GSU was just one of many college tours we offer our kids. They all had a great time exploring the campus with mentors—learning about student life, applications, and FAFSA. #CollegeTours #Atlanta #EndYouthHomelessness #Nonprofit #Outreach #Mentoring

All during #PrideMonth, we celebrate the uniqueness of every youth we serve and their right to be true to themselves. With over 40% of homeless youth identifying as LGBTQIA+, StandUp for Kids will always be a safe place for them to land. Share an emoji to show your support! ♥️

For many homeless and at-risk youth, summer isn't free and easy. Without a parent or guardian looking out for them, coupled with the disconnect from teachers, social workers and assignments, students get behind in core areas such as math and reading. #StandUpForKids #GetHelp

2023 was a phenomenal year for re-instilling our core values and streamlining operations at StandUp for Kids so we can better serve our youth. Highlights are captured in our just released Annual Report available on our website.

Finding reliable food sources can be daunting for at-risk youth. Hunger not only clouds judgment but can lead to poor choices. That's why we're enhancing our core programs with a critical new initiative: Food Access, to help fuel every youth's journey. #FoodAccess

Thanks to Keller Williams Greater 360 real estate office, our Kitsap, Washington chapter recently had their largest bag-packing event ever. Over 50 agents helped pack food bags, hygiene kits, and “Sani-Packs," load them onto trucks and clean up. #kellerwilliamsrealty StandUp For Kids KITSAP

We met these long-term mentees during COVID. As they head off to college, the twins will attend Savannah and GSU with scholarship support. Best of luck to them –we just know you're going to continue achieving great things and making a positive impact in the world. StandUp for Kids - Atlanta

Libraries can be a safe haven for our homeless youth population. Libraries in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver and San Francisco are now employing social workers to help support kids directly. In San Antonino, we have the opportunity to serve kids in the Library’s program space.
