Ontario’s cruise industry is full steam ahead! 🛳️ ⚓️ At #AMO2024 this morning, I was thrilled to hear about the success and tremendous potential for growth of Great Lakes cruising from representatives from the beautiful lakeside communities of Port Colborne and Midland.

Great speaking with delegates from Whitewater Region and Wasaga Beach at #AMO2024 about their thriving local tourism and culture industries. Both communities are iconic destinations that showcase the best of Ontario’s natural beauty.

Earlier today, Minister Sarkaria and I joined forces to talk tourism and transportation with the Town of Niagara-on-Lake at #AMO2024. From world-class wineries to some of Canada’s finest cultural attractions, it’s no secret that tourism is the lifeblood of Niagara-on-the-Lake.

At #AMO2024 yesterday, I chatted with delegates from Sault Ste. Marie and Bradford West Gwillimbury about the incredible economic benefits gaming provides local communities. #DYK: In 2022-23, the OLG delivered $730 million in support to local economies all across Ontario!

Closed out delegation meetings at #AMO2024 yesterday with a pair of productive sit-downs with Dufferin County and Lambton County, in which we talked about the vital importance of community libraries and museums.

Had a fantastic time at #AMO2024 this week, with productive conversations that will help inform our plans and perspectives moving forward as we continue to boost Ontario’s tourism, culture and gaming sectors.

The Toronto Korean Festival, Canada's largest celebration of Korean culture, took place this past weekend right here in #Willowdale. It was a huge success! The festival shared everything Korean culture has to offer with a record number of both Korean and non-Korean attendees. 🇰🇷
