When you compare the same paragraph in English & Spanish, the SPANISH VERSION has so many words. The length roughly seems to be about 3 Spanish words to 1 English word. This makes a BIG DIFFERENCE when it comes to recording Spanish scripts that have to fit in certain timelines.

Living in California, I always say “Fall backward & spring forward!” Remember that helpful little saying about how to set your clocks when we have the time change? Most of us may not even have actual clocks to set anymore- with the exception of the oven and maybe the microwave;)

When working with a script for an audition, I love to rehearse doing my lines many different ways. Even if I only submit 2 or 3 versions, it helps me really get into who I am supposed to be.
