We are incredibly proud of our year 5/6 girls' football team who made it through to final of the 'Plate Cup' this week and got to play at Plainmoor. Well done to all involved!

Yesterday the children experienced democracy in action! They had the very important job of voting for names for our two new Attendance Bears! The names will be announced tomorrow in collective worship. #britishvalues #democracy

Some children have been matching trees with their leaf and their seed.  They gathered leaves and made a spectrum light to dark and create a character. They really enjoyed looking at the habitats of different creatures. #educaionnaturepark

May day celebrations at MRY! Members of the clergy, our May queen and her attendants led the procession from school through the precinct and into church for our service #mayday2024

May day celebrations continued...The procession route was lined by parents and friends as it made its way through the St. Marychruch precinct at to St Mary the Virgin Church.

The whole school community, including family and friends, shared in a beautiful celebration of the virgin Mary with some wonderful singing from the children.

Our May day celebrations were capped off Maypole dancing in the precinct. It was so lovely to see so many members of the community enjoying the sun and dancing!

Olympic festival with Middles from St Marychurch, USJ and ABS at Cuthbert Mayne. Fantastic afternoon celebrating sport in the bay.

Moving furniture to set up the stage made me reflect on our new house point display. Great to see the houses race each other to be champions at end of the year with our new visual display. Thank you to Mr W for his creativity to make this for us #GoMRY

Another celebration - well done to our talented athletes bringing back 1st place for the Y3 team and the Y5 team plus lots of individual medals too from the Primary Athletics Festival at CBM today. #GoMRY

Today we have been very 'British' and braved the weather for our Parents' Picnic! It was great to be joined by so many parents and family members to all enjoy lunch together! And the rain held off!
