Yesterday, Year 6 students and parents attended an 'Afternoon Tea in the Resource Provision.' Year 7 and 8 students served food and gave a presentation about the school and expectations. This event marked the beginning of the transition process for Year 6 students.

Today we took members of our Diversity Council to St Anne's Ancoats. They delivered a workshop on gender equality to an amazing group of Year 5 students. The students learnt that no matter what your gender, we should all be treated equally.

Today, Year 7 students took part in an interactive workshop led by EDT. The workshop focused on strong structures and bridges.
They were then tasked with collaborating and utilising their problem-solving abilities to construct rollercoasters together.

Congratulations to the Y8 football team that won todays Manchester United tournament winning 5/7 games drawing the remaining 2 and conceding only 1 goal in the process. They now qualify for the grand finals at Carrington later this year 🏆

Last week, 10 young girls from Year 7 & 8 attended the Inspiher workshop organized by Alstom , a rail engineering company. Alstom staff inspired the girls by showcasing different engineering pathways and roles available.
