As part of the Great Science Share for Schools , Year 6 have created a scientific model to explore how coral is affected when ocean temperatures rise due to climate change. The question linked in perfectly with our whole school English theme- Protect our Planet 🌎🌊🐠🦑🪼🪸

A fantastic afternoon for the #GreatScienceShare. Year 4 created boats & investigated if changing the size of the sail impacted the distance it travelled. We also applied our knowledge from our environment themed text this half term to discussions about caring for our oceans.⛵️🌊

Yesterday, we had a science afternoon. The children had the enquiry question ‘How can the wind, rain and the sun help us’. The children loved seeing the wind, making wind and learning how electricity can be made From solar, hydro and the wind 😊

Last term, the Nook planted many different seeds. This term, I am running a gardening club to keep growing fruit and vegetables. Our first gardening club and we were able to pull up some fresh radishes. We washed them, cut them and tried them 😋 #stpaulab
