Congratulations to all of the First Communicants at Holy Spirit in Marple today. We’re proud of you all. Well done to Fr Bill and Mrs Ashton for a beautiful mass. It is such a privilege for our school to serve parishes across two dioceses. The Catholic Diocese of Nottingham @ShrewsRCnews

We have had a special assembly to thank Grandad Jim for his hard work running the St. Mary’s Green Force team for over ten years. Mr McClafferty came up to present him with a special award on behalf of St Ralph Sherwin CMAT. Thanks again, Jim!

St Mary’s CVA is bringing home the silverware from the Stockport Sports Awards: six school awards and four for individual pupils. Our pupils have spoken so eloquently at the podium too. #aspire #achieve Stockport SHAPES Alliance

It’s the Year 6 Conference today. We’ve travelled by train to The Church of the Annunciation parish hall in New Mills. We’ll be thinking about what it means to be a Year 6 pupil at our great school.

There is a great turn out for our Special Friends assembly this afternoon. It’s such an exciting time every year to see our Reception class and Year 6 buddied up.

It’s started! Mrs Mitchell, Mrs Wilde and Mrs Emery are in Chorlton Park Primary School this morning for the first Teacher Research Group meeting for the new maths cluster that we have joined. Very exciting! We are continuing down the road to mastery teaching in mathematics.

Back to school today! We’ve had our first two entries into the competition to name our house groups. If your child has a favourite saint that would make a good patron for one of our house groups, get them to send a letter or email into school saying who it is and why.
