Year 2 had a fabulous time at the Safari Park. They enjoyed a safari ride, saw elephants, rhinos and even the lions eating their breakfast. They loved seeing all the different animals, followed by making the perfect habitat for a hissing cockroach. #schooltrip #wmsp

This half-term, Years 4, 5 and 6 have been working on their athletics skills. The children have been sprinting, using hurdles, the new school javelins and practising relay races! #physicaleducation #athletics

Year 6 have been learning about Crime and Punishment through the ages. Here, they are doing “hard labour” tasks such as picking oakum (unravelling wool), shot drill (lifting boxes), tread wheel (up and down on a bench) and walking in silence around the yard! #historytolife

This week we celebrated a lovely Thanksgiving Mass with Fr Philip. We were led beautifully by Year 4 who made their First Holy Communion last weekend. #Eucharist #sacrament #catholiclife #bodyofchrist

Year 6 have been working on their still life using tints, shades and tones. #artcurriculum

Building on their still life unit, Year 6 moved on to experimenting with Indian ink with skewers, thin and thick brushes before using it to add detail and shadows last week. #artcurriculum

Year 5 have been learning about our class saint- St Francis of Assisi. We each decorated our own Tau cross which is a symbol adopted by St Francis, reminding us of his saying “Let us begin again.”
