Year 1 have just wrapped up an amazing trip to Weston-super-Mare 🌊🎡 — sun, sand, donkey rides and good vibes all around. A fun and exciting success from start finish! 😎

Nursery: Children have been interested in her Henna on her hands. I decided to speak to the children about it and explained it was made from leaves and produces a stain to make some beautiful patterns on the body. I explained in many cultures it is a sign of love and health.

Year 5 have been working hard on their creative computing design. They have looked at shapes and how to duplicate them, resize them and colour them to make an image. I think we definitely have some graphic designers on our hands!

Year 5 took their history knowledge to the next level and crafted some fact jars. They have been researching about a famous Victorian person and have designed a jar based on them, with a scroll of facts inside! Great work Year 5, they look amazing 🤩

Herbert group 1 worked so well as a team this morning for sports day; they encouraged one another and demonstrated self- belief in their abilities. Well done all!

Year 5 at sports day - Year 5 had a great time together watching the sprints this afternoon, cheering on their houses! 💛❤️💙💚

🎭 In Year 4 English lessons, we’ve been exploring Wolves in the Walls through drama. We acted out the story and using freeze frames and hot seating, pupils considered the thoughts, feelings and actions of the characters, as they work towards writing their own monologues. 🐺

Nursery: Children have had a go at cutting their own fruit and making some banana and jam sandwiches. All these activities are to support development of their fine motor skills - getting them ready for some writing!

Mrs Priest loved getting to know her new Y3 class this morning, they took part in a range of fun activities this morning and demonstrated great teamwork and resilience.

Nursery: Freeze dance!! Let’s get those bodies moving, those ears stimulated and those brains actively learning. Super job Nursery.

Year 6 Adventure Day at Ackers 🎯 Year 6 had a fantastic day at Ackers Adventure! They took part in archery, tubing, and disc golf—lots of fun, laughter, and memories made. A brilliant way to celebrate their final few weeks.

Year 5 had a fantastic morning learning how to make ‘The Queen of Pizza’ … a margarita! They learnt how to shape the pizza, how much flour was needed to ensure it didn’t stick, and how to shake off any excess flour - which involved throwing the dough! 🍕

Year 5 then added a tomato Passata to their base, and topped with delicious mozzarella! 🧀🍅

Finally leading onto enjoying their finished products sat in the park, with 10/10s all around 😋

Today we had our final TLC after school club of the year, celebrating with a party and enjoying the sunshine! It’s been lovely to see the group grow, share different experiences, form friendships, and enjoy plenty of fun and smiles along the way.

Year 6 End of Year Water Fight 💦 Year 6 celebrated with a brilliant end-of-year water fight! Everyone got very wet but had so much fun - lots of laughter, teamwork, and splashes all round!

Year 5 have been working hard on their Victorian Samplers, researching the ribbon industry in Coventry, creating mood boards and using cross, running and back stitch! We have been blown away by their sewing skills - amazing work! 🪡🧵
