Outside of school, B has been using his God-given talents in kick boxing. After only 5 weeks, he has achieved his first belt. His class mates were very impressed…we are very proud of your hard work and determination.

Children in Y5 have been conducting interviews this afternoon! After learning the story of Lazarus’ death, the children created questions which they would want to ask Jesus and then thought about how he would’ve responded. 🧡Catholic Primary Partnership🧡 Birmingham Diocesan Education Service

Y5 created freeze frames and then short ‘episodes’ based on the text ‘The Island’. They featured two characters finding safety on a new island where they will find hospitality rather than hostility. These will inform their writing later this week. Literacy Tree

Nursery had a great dance lesson with Miss Curran. We learnt how to sit like a dancer and make bridges as we danced to London Bridge is falling down. @PositivePE

Nursery thought about all the times they could be brave like St George. We thought about how important it is to always tell the truth so we don’t make people unhappy. We made a heart to show how we could care for others like St George. 🧡Catholic Primary Partnership🧡

Happy St George’s day! Y5 began their day by coming together in prayer to reflect on his life and how he inspires us. The Prayer and Liturgy leaders chose to sing the hymn ‘We are a shining light’ as he sets a shining example and we should do the same. 🧡Catholic Primary Partnership🧡

To celebrate the feast day of St George, prayer leaders led Year 6 in prayer. We learnt that as he fought for what he believed in, we can go forth and affirm our faith. Using resilience, we will also try to overcome the ‘dragons’ in our daily lives. 🧡Catholic Primary Partnership🧡
