#worldbookday2025 started off with a fantastic book swap.

Room 10 then took part in the assault course and bouncy castle reading challenge! We were allowed another turn if we answered questions correctly on our class novel, The Twits!

Finally, we created character hats for the St Francis hat parade!🎩

Rm 5 had a fabulous #worldbookday2025 We enjoyed a book swap, a ‘Bear Hunt’ obstacle course, we created a book related hat, went to a book cafe, figured out some masked readers and the day ended with a hat parade and lots of laughs at jokes. We love our #readingschool ❤️📚

Thank you to P7 pupils that led games on Friday as part of our S.C.I.A.F fundraising events. They have planned an event for every week. This Thurs is fun day & next Thurs is our walk. We still need volunteers to help with this. Please contact the school if you can help 🚶‍♀️

Rm 5 have been using BSL finger spelling to help learn spelling words. It‘s amazing how quickly they have learned this new skill! We test each other in class and we love trying to beat our highest score in a test. You can practise at home with this link british-sign.co.uk/fingerspelling…
