Today, some of the members of our Gift and Caritas Teams were given the chance to visit our second jubilee church of the year. We had a wonderful morning exploring the ‘beautiful place’ that is Schoenstatt Church and Shrine. #stethre St Teresa of Calcutta CAT

Our Mrs Crowe award goes to those who have been spotted by the dinner staff for behaviour and helping out during dinner time. Our Caritas award goes to Mr Gavin, Mrs Quinn and Miss Woodcock, who raised £780 for Bolton Hospice and the MND association. St Teresa of Calcutta CAT #makinglivesbetter

Year 6 have started their Art topic on sculptures. Today, they have made their own Endurance Ship in the style of Darrell Wakelam. St Teresa of Calcutta CAT #makinglivesbetter


Before half term, Year 6 were lucky enough to have a visit from Bolton ICT. They learnt how to setup and programme their micro bits and finished with an intense game of hot potato. St Teresa of Calcutta CAT #makinglivesbetter

Year 5 started their new art topic for this half term. Today they looked at how colour is used. We created a colour wheel showing complimentary colours, painted a monochromatic scale and looked at which colours are warm and which are cold. St Teresa of Calcutta CAT #makinglivesbetter


Poetry week is well underway as Year 5 are learning a class poem after exploring a variety of poetry anthologies. Being inspired by this, the children are also writing their own poetry. St Teresa of Calcutta CAT #makinglivesbetter #makingchristknown


Year 3 had a fantastic day at the zoo today to support their learning about rainforests of the world. We had a wonderful lesson from Cam and Luke and enjoyed looking at some amazing artefacts. We loved looking at all of the animals too. 🐒🐻🦍🐘🐯🦁🦘St Teresa of Calcutta CAT Blackpool Zoo

Year 6 were lucky enough to have a visit from Prevent2Protect team, who worked with us to understanding what a gang is and how to identify gangs trying to groom children. It was a wonderful session and the team said our children were a credit to us St Teresa of Calcutta CAT
