Last week commenced with a poignant Remembrance Day service, led by Canon Kevin, providing our pupils with a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices of others.

Year 2 had a thrilling day out at the Tower of London. We stepped back in time and learnt more about the Gunpowder plot! Historic Royal Palaces

This week, Year 1 looked at building a wall using different materials. We used a hairdryer to blow them down and see if they would stay up.

Year 1 brought in their own toys this week as we focused on how toys have changed over time. We did a show and tell lesson explaining how our toys are different from toys in the past. What a great way to learn about primary sources!

Last week, selected KS2 pupils were invited to the Poetry Together day at Central Hall Westminster. They got to meet famous poets and take part in workshops gaining tips on how to write poems and to inspire a love of poetry Poetry Together

Reception went on a shape hunt to find 2D and 3D shapes in an everyday environment. We discovered lots of different shapes and were able to talk about their properties! 🟦🔵▶️

This week, Reception have been taking part in Bikeability. They have been working very hard on their balance and coordination skills whilst having a lot of fun!

Year 3 worked together this week to edit and improve their diary entries, based on Leon and the Place Between. We can't wait to read the final result! Literacy Tree
