Ealing Borough Remembrance parade today - our second time in charge & our first outing as The Grenadier Guards. The St Benedict's School & @wisemanealing Cadets, as usual, were superb. Thank you to all who took part.

Ex GALEN II First Aid at Work course in full swing on Day 2; 15 William Perkin CofE High School, @shiplake, The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School (West London) & St Benedict's School Cadets working hard on their CPR & choking. Important life skills as well as 4* Proficiency.

After a long silence… Ex RECRUIT THUNDER IV: done. Despite diphtheria jabs the day before, lots of flu, unexpected rain, & plunging temperatures, most of our Recruits had an excellent camp at Pirbright, firing blank for the first time.

Ex WINTER’S BITE IX: done. Plunging temperatures on Sunday night made our annual 2-night 3-day FTX unusually challenging. But the Yr 10s, 11s & 12s fought a good fight against the Yr 13s & brushed aside opposition on the final CASEVAC. Well done all & big thanks to the CFAVs.

Ex GOLDEN LION I: done. Ten The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School (West London) & St Benedict's School Yr12 Cadets on Dartmoor for their practice DofE expedition. The weather on the first day was atrocious but accurate navigation & excellent team spirit brought them all home safely. Many thanks to all our dedicated staff.

Ex RECRUIT LIGHTNING III, our 2025 assessment camp for the 2024 intake, is in full swing. Great weather so far, & some excellent kit in use for practice attacks.

Very proud to have most of our St Benedict's School & @wisemanealing Cadets who attended the Coronation presented with their King’s Coronation Medals @ctcfrimleypark today; presentations were made by the Minister for Veterans & People @alcarns
