The Housing & Redevelopment Dept CSBG Program will begin accepting applications for Easter Food Baskets for Elderly (60+) & Disabled residents only on March 24 and March 25 between 9am-1pm in council chambers at 8201 W. Judge Perez Dr. Applicants must meet CSBG income guidelines.

On April 2, 2025 the St. Bernard Fire Department held a traditional Wet-Down & Push-In Ceremony to announce the addition of a new 1,000-gallon Pumper to its fleet. The Ceremony is a time-honored fire service tradition dating back to the 1800s. #firetruck youtu.be/06UkLil-7RI

The Fire Dept has begun hydrant inspections which take place Mon – Fri from 9am – 11am. Inspections will last 6 weeks. Some residents may experience “rusty” colored water when turning on their faucets & appliances. Running the water for a few minutes should resolve the issue.
