Our Year 3/4 Tag Rugby Team thoroughly enjoyed the development day led by Wigan Warriors Community Foundation 🍒⚪️ learning news skills and then applying them in small games. So much fun in the sunshine. Congratulations to everyone involved.

Congratulations to our Year 5 football team who showed skills and sportsmanship at the tournament yesterday and returned to school with silver medals, narrowly losing in the final 1-0. Well done to all involved.

Congratulations to our children who took part in their first Sacrament of Holy Communion on Saturday. It was a joyful day. We are excited to see the professional photos taken today by one of our parents, Mrs Sinclair from Bobtale Photography, and we thank her for her time.

A lovely Stay, Pray and Celebrate led by our Year 2MC class was a joyful start to the morning for all involved. It was wonderful that so many family members were able to join us.

Great fun at the girl’s cricket tournament today. Well done girls for learning new cricket skills and representing school so well.

The second year of the Helen Smart WOWS Swimming Gala was another great success. Congratulations to all our swimmers, those who made it to finals, came away with medals, and to all those who worked hard to organise it Orrell Newfold What an amazing tribute to our friend.

The sun shone on our EY/KS1 Sports Day. A lovely day of happy competition, skills and team work; children using their talents to shine brightly and support others, in the image of Jesus. Thank you to everyone involved and to family members who supported the event.
