(1/3) Reflecting on last nights @west_suffolk debate on LGR. I’ve been a Councillor for 14 years (minus a 2 year break) and altho Im convinced unitary of some sort is a good idea, even I’m confused about the figures being touted and whether a 1 or 3 model is best for #Suffolk

(2/3) we’re expected to make decisions based on no data, no maps, no delivery plan for key services. Both camps feel so passionately, both arguments are compelling... I just wish someone would offer up a two council option - which is what I and many others feel is right!

(3/3) Anyway my point is… if I am this conflicted (with access to as much info as I am) how can our residents be expected to understand and grasp the subtle nuances? And the potential impact? This is the single biggest change to Local Govt in 50 years and will affect us all
