Met Gayan Ediriweera today in Bangkok and played his amazing mixed reality putting simulator (Out on Quest 3/3s). One of the most innovative ways to use the passthrough camera access imo. Bringing in physical objects into Mixed Reality feels natural in a unique way

Some early screenshots. The game is built with Three.js and the ui works with the amazing uikit by Bela Bohlender. I use marching cubes for the terrain and it is fully destructible. You can play online with your friends or locally in hot seat.

After playing Donkey Kong Bananza, I got inspired to recreate the destructible terrain (on a much smaller scale). Now MR Boom supports a fully destructible marching cubes terrain. There are many ways to interact with it, the first one is obvious: explosions!

Another interesting way to interact with the terrain is via drilling. You gotta be careful though, as this might use up all your energy and leave you stranded. Drilling into the earth can include riches yet to be discovered.
