I believe Death Stranding 2 deserved to win best art direction. It's reductive to call it just "realism" when it features top tier mechanical design by Yoji Shinkawa and on top of everything runs like a dream. Which is this day and age probably deserves an award category itself.

My biggest concern with RE9 is that it will try too hard to please every kind of RE fan by having both survival horror and action horror gameplay through Grace & Leon and end up underbaking both. Which is a shame as someone who greatly enjoys both styles.
