In 2011 I picked up We Are Paper Toys! on a lunch break with Bad Sandwich—it sparked the idea to turn my 2D portraits into 3D characters. A few rough sketches later, I was deep into prototypes… and just like that, the @squatties were born. Here's their history 🧵1/11

12 Street Fighter characters featured in the Sega vs Nintendo '16 Bit Brawl exhibition/zine' curated by the former 'Streets Of Beige' blog, and a stroke of luck orchestrated by my mate Swanny put them in front of Capcom Europe and then it got really interesting. 🧵6/11

moOS v 1.0 - Terminal Made in 24 hours using Cursor. Vibecoded 100% (so needs some love). Lets me save random shit to a floppy disc and virtually thermal print it off. Saves metadata to png as a file store and makes little disc images that only I can read. So much fun.

The final outcome from my laser etch experiments in a custom frame. A 40th birthday gift for a friend who loves moths. Made in an iDraw Pen Plotter #plotter
