If you’ve fished on the Texas coast, you’ve likely seen a fish slick from a speckled trout on the water's surface. This happens when they regurgitate their food. Its smell is akin to watermelon for fresh-cut grass and is a telltale sign that help anglers locate fish in the area.

Did you know that Scoliosis can occur in fish? Despite its appearance, this Atlantic croaker was observed swimming easily, just a little slower than its counterparts. It results from inheriting poor genes, injury during development, a predator injury, or environmental factors.
