Not even close to what I would have predicted…but, got to watch another Super Bowl with the kiddo in Chiefs gear. That’s a moral victory I’ll take any year.

As the snow starts to melt, I’m glad the kiddo is already locked in with her priorities here in a few short weeks ⛳️🏌🏻🏌️‍♀️

First round of golf in 2025 is complete! Highlights included coloring on the scorecard, raking bunkers with not one but BOTH rakes and getting to drive the cart. Dad had a few good shots to build some early false confidence too!

Of course I asked her “Why the long face?” Had the pleasure of horsin’ around this morning at the Bureau of Land Management’s Elm Creek property. I’m partnering with the Nebraska State Fair to tell the story of how these once wild horses end up in Grand Island in August!

Holy cow Hastings! More than 750 people registered and turned out for tonight’s Making Strides for Cancer Walk and Butterfly Release! The GRACE Cancer Foundation and Mary Lanning Healthcare Foundation teamed up to put on this event and were crazy enough to ask me to help emcee!

It was a pleasure representing City of Grand Island while serving as one of the many speakers and workshop hosts for this year’s Midwest Travel Network Annual Conference. Content creation from all sectors is evolving, and it was great seeing so many creators and tourism pros adapting!

Definitely didn't have this on the 2025 Bingo card, but I'm happy to announce that I'm officially a freelance writer for Nebraska on SI (𝙷𝚞𝚜𝚔𝚎𝚛𝙼𝚊𝚡), part of the Sports Illustrated network. I look forward to again contributing to coverage of the Huskers this upcoming year!
