The Town of Spencer Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants throughout the western part of the distribution system starting April 7th thru April 25th 2025. A daily list of the flushing locations will be posted on the Spencer town website spencerma.gov daily

3rd alarm structure fire 130 Northwest Rd. Hvy fire through the roof.

Engine 1 is enroute to the Town of Oxford to cover their station 2 while they are working a second alarm + fire on Whiting Rd.

Fully involved barn at 34 Meadow Rd. W/F struck by Squad 1 returning from a medical.

The Water Dept will be performing a hydrant flow test in the area of South Spencer Rd and Rt 9 tonight September 17th. This may cause discolored water in the area tomorrow.

2 engines requested to Leicester 8 Atwood Terrace for mutual aid.

Update: Current SMFR and EPA response protocol is to let the vehicle burn to cause less of a hazardous environmental impact. No danger to the community.
