Officers have been at Stanwell Moor to monitor heavy load vehicles using Horton Road following concerns raised to us from local residents. The weight restrictions of 7.5 tonnes is in place along this road due to the weak bridge.

Last Thursday PCSOs Andrews, Ashford and Gilligan were on foot patrol in Sunbury where they noticed NOS canisters in a grassy area. A total of 8 large canisters were seized, and these were sent onto the council for destruction. Please report any ongoing Anti-Social behaviour.

PCSO’s Gilligan and Pyne held a Meet The Beat session in Ashford yesterday and gave out leaflets on crime prevention and advice and guidance regarding concerns and issues raised . They wanted to thank everyone who stopped for a chat with a smiley face despite the heat! 🥵

Our team attended the Respect & Connect event in Stanwell yesterday. The initiative was set up to work with the community to address issues like loneliness or social isolation. It was great to see partner agencies there and highlighted the importance of working together.

PCSO Lappin popped into Chennestone school last week to say hello to the pupils whilst on patrol. It was received positively by all those that stopped by to say hello and PCSO Lappin enjoyed his visit.

Officers were carrying out foot patrols at Long Lane Park in Stanwell on Saturday night following ongoing reports and concerns form the public about people riding scrambler type motorbikes in the Park. All was in order on this visit but regular patrols will continue in the area.
