Our final abstract for the day is from Darren Knight of George House Trust on Addressing and challenging HIV stigma in the beauty industry. GHT decided to survey people living with HIV’s experiences of stigma when seeking beauty services, including tattoos. #BHIVA24
Results from a survey by George House Trust Darren Knight - almost 3/4 people with HIV had seen HIV mentioned on the pretreatment consultation form for beauty & cosmetic treatments. Unnecessary & stigmatising! They've developed accredited online training 👏 #BHIVA24
