The intersection of Pontiac Trail and Lake St will be shut down due to the Lake Street Cruise-In MotorFest on Saturday, July 28th from 6am to 7pm. Follow Detour.

A small section of Wells St. Between E. Lake and E. Liberty will be closed for repairs starting today Aug 1. The closure will not affect the post office entrance or exit, thru traffic only. If everything goes as planned Wells St. will reopen Friday August 3 in the afternoon.

Road Closures -- On September 28th at Noon the intersection of Pontiac trl and Ten Mile will be closed for the weekend. Points of closure are: Pontiac Trl at Whipple St, Ten Mile at Washington St, Ten Mile at Wells St, Pontiac Trl at Liberty St and Pontiac Trl at Detroit St.

Pumpkinfest Parade -- The staging area will be at Centennial Middle School on 9/29. 9 Mile from Centennial to Pontiac Trl will close at 8:30am. At 9:30am we close down Pontiac Trl from 9 Mile to Liberty St. These areas will be closed for approximately 90 min.

SOUTH LYON PD: Downtown will be closed this evening for the Trick or Treat event from 6pm to 8:30PM. Wells to Washington on 10, Whipple to Liberty on PT.

**Winter Weather Advisory** A snow emergency has been declared for the City of South Lyon until 6pm Tuesday, January 29th. During this time, all vehicles must be removed from the street to allow DPW to preform winter maintenance in a safe and efficient manner.

Due to the inclement weather, the City Council meeting for tonight has been cancelled. City Hall will be closing at 2pm today.
