We were delighted to host the inspirational SI Taunton #SkirtingScience event today. 🧫🌌🧪 Over 230 Year 9 girls from local secondary schools had the opportunity to take part in some brilliant #STEM workshops. No doubt they have been inspired to pursue a career in science! 👩‍💻👩‍🔬

Let’s hope the trial is a success! Carrying on the theme from our March regional meeting.

Save the Children Fund charity are 100 years old in May - so we held a coffee and cake morning to raise £100 - then collected over £200!! We are very happy to be able to mark this great landmark date of a charity that does so much for the young - and we enjoyed the coffee!

Today, several members enjoyed a lovely tour, full of anedotes, and afternoon tea with the Lord Mayor, Cllr Sam Davey, at Elliot Terrace on Plymouth Hoe, The house, brimming over with history, was owned by Lord and Lady Astor and gifted by them to the City of Plymouth.

Fantastic evening at our 31st #Swimathon presentation giving out certificates and trophies to winning swimming teams and of course cheques to the charities St Margaret's Hospice Care Somerset Sight Citizens Advice #taunton Amazing total of £19,234 raised, shared between the charities

SIPlymouth&District were at the annual Lambfeast Plympton with our big business raffle and tombola stall. Paul the delighted winner of first prize £100 Brittany Ferries voucher Sunshine all day with many many visitors to our stands.
