Independent candidates Dr Umar Al-Qadri and John Forde have been eliminated in Dublin West in the 3rd count. 2 seats remain – PBPS Ruth Coppinger remains in 4th place, however, smaller party representatives believe transfers to Green Party, Aontú & Labour could shake things up.

Aontú’s Ellen Troy continues ahead of Roderic O’Gorman in the race to secure the much-coveted 5th seat in Dublin West. PBPS Ruth Coppinger is still on track to secure the 4th seat and is expected to do very well from Sinn Féin transfers in the 11th count. #GE2024

Ruth Coppinger received transfer boost in latest Dublin West count. She's still 2,162 votes short of the quota but set to secure 4th seat. Aontú’s Ellen Troy in 5th place but not expected to get any more transfer boosts. O'Gorman in 6th. Soc Dems votes now being distributed.

Dublin West: PBPS Ruth Coppinger set to do very well from SocDems' Ellen Murphy transfers on the 12th count, although still not enough to reach the quota and election. Green's Roderic O'Gorman and Labour's John Walsh also appear to have done well on SocDems transfers.
