Today we joined Blood Cancer UK as they launched the #BloodCancerActionPlan, calling on the government to: ✅ Futureproof the NHS workforce ✅ Provide swifter diagnosis ✅ Ensure patients receive the best care ✅ Unlock access to trials and treatment #BloodCancerOvershadowed

It was great meeting with Blood Cancer UK today to hear about their landmark report. In the last 10 years, 1 million+ potential years of life have been lost to blood cancer, this needs to change. The event was sponsored by the lovely Alliance Party in Westminster MP Sorcha Eastwood MP ❤️

Well done Sorcha Eastwood MP! It’s 2024, it’s my personal opinion that every young person dying of blood cancer (or indeed any cancer) is a stain on our heath service. We need better treatments and a better understanding of cancer.
