More bluebells. I love the way the early morning sunlight completely changes their colour - from a cool purply-blue to warm and soft pinky-mauve. Light is incredible in how it can change something's appearance!

There are some great volcanic geological features along the south-east coast of #Iceland - like this long, thin stack that the waves crash against. Taken a year ago, with fog and peaks peeking out beyond.

The weekend starts here!

Another throw back to my April 2023 trip around #Iceland , from the coastline at Fauskasandur, when I'd managed to escape the fog that enveloped the area nearby.

Waterfalls are make good subject-matter on a grim and foggy day, like this cute little falls in south-east #Iceland .

This time last year I was in south-east #Iceland , and it was the beginning of a three-day-long fog-fest! Still, when visibility was more than a few metres it was rather atmospheric.

Always worth a quick stop at Folaldafoss - I've never managed to visit in anything other than terrible weather.

A year ago today I drove from east to south-east #Iceland - it was an absolutely ghastly day, with heavy rain and low visibility, but there were some special sights along the way, like this waterfall that I photographed from the car!

I've never noticed this tree before when photographing in these #bluebell woods over the years. I like it :)

There were also some magnificent clouds over the local common this afternoon. Thunder and lightning earlier too :)
