The V&A Chanel and Diva exhibitions are exceptional. I don’t think I’ve ever described an exhibition as breathtaking before but Chanel has done it. And the soundtrack to Diva means people dance as they look round. LOVED IT.

Why is English important? The submasters had to continually argue their cases. Someone took their words and made them into a script. Someone else directed it so it touched the hearts of millions and now justice has finally been served. Tell me again the Arts aren’t important.

I absolutely LOVE the Hamnet sonic stories made available for The RSC ‘s Hamnet. A genius move for those who need guiding through the sensory aspects of a show. 👏 bravo!!

Sighted guide training with Guide Dogs is worth its weight in gold. Was able to use it today when @lner let a passenger down. The training is free, takes 1 hour and you never know when you might be able to make someone’s day just a little less difficult.

Thank you British Library for the wonderful doctoral open day yesterday. What a fabulous day. Possibly the friendliest place on earth, too.

Bought a new car. Keen to stay with The RAC for insurance but their premium went up by £200. So they charged me £70 to leave them. Seems a bit unfair when Volkswagen could give the same cover for £200 less. I’m fairly intelligent but I don’t understand the massive difference 🤷‍♀️
