Diagnosis: Abdominal pregnancy. Note the placenta overlying the empty uterus. Emergency laparotomy was performed with the successful delivery of a live infant. Post-op complicated by placental hemorrhage requiring mult transfusions and hysterectomy. Mother and infant did well.
