I wanted to be a Navy fighter pilot.  To secure a Navy flight contract, I sought an appointment at the US Naval Academy, where the most slots were available. I was admittedly terrified of the Marines at first. With time, fear shifted to curiosity, and then to admiration. The

Demo is a trained facility dog. He lives on the ship and interacts with crew. His job is to reduce stress and improve quality of life. He did a great job on the recent combat deployment!

It comes with a heavy heart to post this. This warrior was Company Commander of Bravo Company, 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance during my deployment to Iraq. Together with other elements, we made up Task Force Mech. I just found out we lost a True Warrior. LtCol Dominique B.

Today we honor Army Sgt. 1st Class David A. Cooper Jr. of State College, PA who gave his all on September 5th, 2007. We will never forget you, brother.
