Love it - #nightmarecommuteday. Great region to move to regional Australia. I got caught at a round about in Dubbo on my way to work yesterday. I had to wait 5 minutes to get through! #shock #horror!

Agriculture isn't farming, its a whole supply chain. Largest trade-exposed manufacturing industry in Australia is in meat production. We must understand what regional jobs look like now, 10, 20+ years in the future, & many are in manufacturing: Peter Strong AMIC #RegionsRising

The presentations today at #RegionsRising around mobility, regional education and workforce make me think that we do need a stronger differentiation in policy between regional inland areas and regional coastal areas... (where jobs are outstripping growth).

#RegionsRising RRR education review: challenge slide is mission something: quality I think this is on two fronts - schools producing young adults that are job fit and the documented lower result level for RRR students, as measured by things such as a ATAR in NSW?

Less than week to our Inland Growth Summit, being held in #Dubbo. Virtual tickets are still available. Looking forward to a great array of speakers and discussion on inland regional policy!

After a frustratingly slow harvest, cotton bales for miles near Nevertire, western NSW. One bale produces 215 jeans, 1200 tshirts or 3000 pairs of socks. So in these photos there’s… more maths involved than I’m prepared to tackle 😂 Amazing photos from Hayley Altman
